21st April 2024 From Wesley to the World Celebrating 250 years of Worship and Mission at Mount Zion

Open Day and Anniversary Service including a 'pop up' exhibition featuring samples from the Weardale Methodist Tapestries Collection

11am to 2 pm - Mount Zion open to the public.

2.30 pm - 3.30 pm - Anniversary Celebration Service, with address from the Vice President of the Methodist Church, Deacon Kerry Scarlett.

3.30 pm to 5 pm - Mount Zion open to the public.

June 2024 (start date TBC) Mount Zion Oral History Project

Do you have a long association with Mount Zion and the Upper Brockholes, Ogden areas?  Would you be willing to talk to small groups of children, so that your experiences may be recorded for posterity?  We are currently in the process of seeking funding for this important project. 14th and 15th September 2024 Heritage Open Days

Theme: Routes - Networks – Connections. 

Come and explore Mount Zion Heritage Chapel and grounds.

The Chapel will be open to the public on Saturday 14th September 10.00 am to 5.00 pm and Sunday 15th

September 10.00 am to 2.00pm. Talks and guided tours.

A heritage day celebration service will be held on the Sunday afternoon 2.30pm – 3.30pm. All welcome!

14th and 15th December Christmas at Mount Zion
